What won the race: Nabbing his first career United Crate Racing Alliiance victory, fifth-starting Tanner Works of Cleveland, Tenn., crossed the finish line 0.94 seconds ahead of runner-up Jake Teague at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn.
Key notes: The event was slowed by six caution flags; three of those caution flags came on lap 19. ... John Ownbey and Cory Hedgecock swapped the lead lap after lap in traffic before the lap 19 caution. ... Shortly after the caution, Works took the lead and kept it the rest of the way in the 40-lap affair, turning back consistent pressure. ... Series action will continue Saturday at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
