What won the race: Fourth-starting Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., made his 20th victory of 2016 a big one, picking up a $5,400 payday in the 50-lap Dalton Myers 54.
Key notes: Wayne Hammond drove the No. 40B typicaly driven by Kyle Bronson, his nephew; he finished eighth. ... Bronson was involved in an altercation with Keith Nosbisch last week at East Bay. ... The race paid tribute to a Florida youngster and racer who died last year. Ivedent Lloyd Jr.'s graphics scheme was in memory of Dalton Myers. ...
