What won the race: Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., opened the Chevrolet Performance Super Series season with a flag-to-flag victory Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway, taking the checkered flag ahead of Devin Dixon of Riverview, Fla.,
Key notes: Driving a Stanley and Andy Shadden-owned car, Hedgecock led all 50 laps for his third career Chevy Super Series win. ... Jake Knowles crossed the finish line third but failed to meet the minimum weight requirement at the scales and was dropped to last place in the official rundown. ... Nine cars finished on the lead lap. ... Jason Manley picked up the win in the steel-head engine Late Model feature.
