The track was reworked and drivers were allowed to make adjustments, but if they changed tires they were forced to the back. ... Redetzke suffered a flat right-rear tire during the pit stop, forfeiting his second spot. ... Kent Arment retired while running third in the later stages of the race. ... Brent Larson brought out a caution for a flat right-front tire. ... Zach Johnson spun while racing hard with Ricky Weiss in the top five. ... Don Shaw made hard contact with the turn-two wall at the start of the second heat; Dustin Virkus had similar fortunes, slamming the turn-three wall in the third heat. ... Wet conditions wiped out Friday's series event at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D. ... The track hosts the famed WISSOTA 100 on Sept. 10-13.
