Jack Sullivan emerges victorious from his car at Timberline.
What won the race: Third-starting Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., outdueled B.J. Robinson of Bossier City, La., to capture the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series season opener at Timberline Speedway. The reigning series champ earned $2,000 while finishing .531 of a second ahead of polesitter Robinson.
Key notes: Fourteen drivers completed all 35 laps. ... After making hard contact with Lee Davis in his heat race, Hunter Rasdon and his crew thrashed to get his car ready for the feature. He started 22nd and improved four spots to finish 18th but didn't finish the distance. ... Trey Beene and Lee Davis failed to qualify for the feature. ...
