What won the race: Winning his first series race, Shane Stephens of Arlington, Tenn., emerged from a four-way battle for the lead to pace the final two laps at Greenville Speedway. He earned a $2,500 MSCCS victory by .938 of a second over runner-up Brian Rickman of Columbus, Miss.
Key notes: Despite jumping the turn-two wall, Brett White returned to the track to finish 12th. ... Nine cars were running at the finish with seven completing all 50 laps. ... For the second straight night, Mike Palasani Jr., of Leland, Miss., led nearly half the race. He fell out of Saturday's race while leading on lap 47 with water pump problems. … Friday’s opener was won by Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss. ... Greenville hosts additional MSCCS events on April 29, May 28, July 22 and Oct. 6-7.
