What won the race: A.J. Diemel of Elk Mound, Wis., emerged triumphant in dramatic fashion at Cedar Lake Speedway, pulling off a last-lap pass on Chad Mahder of Eau Claire, Wis., when Mahder bobbled on the cushion exiting turn four heading to the white flag. Diemel earned $3,000 for the victory in the 40-lap Triple Crown event.

Key notes: Diemel battled at the front of the pack with Mahder for virtually the distance in a titanic two-car showdown before nosing out his fellow Badger State driver by a half a length at the finish line. ...
