What won the race: David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss., charged through the field from the 17th starting position to pick up his first Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory of the season. Breazeale topped Chad Trash of Meridian, Miss., for a $2,500 payday.
Key notes: Breazeale was behind the wheel of Billy Franklin's backup car sted his usual No. 54. ... Breazeale became the fifth different winner in six MSCCS races this season; his 31st career win on the circuit ranks him second on the tour's all-time list. ...
