What won the race: Series founder Ralph Morgan Jr. of Mount Union, Pa., overtook race-long leader Rance Garlock of Three Springs, Pa., on the 22nd of 25 laps for a $1,000 victory on the first-year Mason-Dixon Shootout Series.
Key notes: A lap-18 caution helped set up Morgan's late-race heroics. ... Morgan is the fourth winner in as many races for the Mason-Dixon tour. ... Other winners on the Dog Hollow card included Michael Lake (Super Late Models) and Mike Laughard (Crate Late Models). ... The tour has three more events scheduled in May, including one Saturday in Hesston, Pa.
