Phillips pocketed $3,000 for the victory at Missouri's Randolph County Raceway.

He last won with the tour Aug. 12-13, 2016, when he swept a weekend at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb. ... Chris Simpson of Oxford, Iowa, did not enter Saturday's program, but won the opening two legs of MLRA's weekend tripleheader at Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., and Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. ... With the cancellation of a June 24 event at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa, the MLRA will remain idle until a June 30-July 1 twinbill at Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway.
