What won the race: Kanyan Methvin of Yellville, Ark., parlayed his win in the third heat race into his second Southern Outlaw Late Model Series victory of the season, topping Friday’s 18-car field at Plumerville (Ark.) Speedway. Methvin outran Randall Griffin of Leslie, Ark., to the checkers for a win worth $1,000.
Key notes: Once in the lead, Methvin was never seriously challenged. ... Methvin won earlier this season at his home track, North Central Arkansas Speedway. ...
