What won the race: Sliding ahead of polesitter Chris Ferguson of Mount Holly, N.C., on lap 22 of 40, second-starting Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., led the rest of the way for a $5,000 Southern All Star victory at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
Quotable: "This track was racy. The lapped cars were kind of scary," McIntosh said. "I didn't know which way they were going to go (or) when they were going to go. I can't think these guys (enough) for racing me clean."
Key notes: McIntosh notched his third victory of the 2017 season and first career Southern All Stars triumph. … He is the 176th different winner in SAS history. ...
