What won the race: Reigning series champ Dona Marcoullier of Houghton Lake, Mich., advanced from this third starting spot and passed early leader Curtis Roberts near the halfway point to win the Carbon Green BioEnergy 40 at Mount Pleasant Speedway. Marcoullier crossed the finish line 0.455 seconds ahead of Roberts.
Key notes: The victory was Marcoullier's second American Ethanol Late Model Tour victory of the season, and his seventh overall series victory. ... Marcoullier took the lead from Roberts on the backstretch on lap 15 and led the rest of the way. ... Bill Bray, who was scheduled to start second, withdrew prior to the feature because of mechanical issues. ... The event went caution-free and was completed in 10 minutes, 45 seconds.
