Robbie Black enjoys telling the crowd about his Mason-Dixon victory
What won the race: Fourth-starting Robbie Black of Claysburg, Pa., overtook polesitter Donnie Farlling on the sixth lap at Bedford Speedway and raced to his first victory on the first-year Mason-Dixon Shootout Series. Black earned $1,000 in the 25-lapper as he took the checkers 0.725 seconds ahead of runner-up Derick Quade.
Key notes: Black is the seventh series winner in eight races. ... After a month off, the Mason-Dixon series jump-started a busy July that is scheduled in include four additional events. ... Bedford hosts the Mason-Dixon tour again on Aug. 20
