Delbert Smith emerges in victory lane at Belleville, Kan.
What won the race: Winning his third National Championship Racing Association feature in as many 2017 events for the tour, Delbert Smith of Wichita, Kan., raced to a $1,000 victory at the Belleville High Banks. Smith, who started fourth, bested polesitter Dusty Leonard of Maysville, Kan., at the checkers.
Key notes: Delbert Smith's previous victories came May 27 and June 18 at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. ... After a string of five rainouts and cancellations to begin the season, the tour has now successfully completed three straight events. ...
