Logan Ellis was declared the winner at Crawford County Speedway.
What won the race: Logan Ellis of Wagoner, Okla., rebounded from a lap-two spin at Crawford County Speedway to win Monday's rain-halted Sooner Late Model Series event. Ellis inherited the lead when points leader Jay Sale was disqualified for rough driving, then took the checkers two laps shy of the scheduled distance after rain began to fall.
Key notes: Ellis won his first Sooner Series feature. ... Jay Sale was leading in the late stages when he was black-flagged for rough driving in an incident with Jake Davis, who tried to slide in front of Sale in turn two in a battle for the lead. ... Jason Redman led most of the way but got into the turn-four wall, handing the lead to Sale. ... Brandon Mitchell ran as high as second but was scored 12th at the finish. ... Dustin Leatherman scratched from the main event.
Winner's sponsors: Ellis drives a No. 118 sponsored by Virginia Tower Construction, Vinson Poultry and Quality Cuts.
Points chase: After Crawford County, Jay Sale has 1,565 points to lead Jason Redman (1,280) and Logan Ellis (1,275).
