What won the race: Justin Weaver of Williamsport, Md., overtook Derick Quade exiting the final corner at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday for a victory on the first-year Mason-Dixon Shootout Series. He earned $1,000 in the 20-lapper.
Key notes: Justin Weaver and Derick Quade raced side-by-side the final 10 laps. ... Weaver led the 12th lap, but Quade had a slight edge until Weaver went back ahead heading for the checkers, winning by a nose. ... Matt Nailor was the only entrant who didn't start the feature. ... Weaver is the eighth different winner in nine events for the first-year tour.
