Winning at Brownstown, Tanner English claimed his sixth straight MARS East victory.
What won the race: Rallying from the fourth row, Tanner English of Benton, Ky., drove to his sixth straight MARS East victory, winning $2,000 at Brownstown Speedway Saturday night. The seventh-starting English topped polesitter Cody Mahoney and 11th-starting Victor Lee to win the 13th annual Hall of Fame Classic.
Key notes: Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Ind., was injured in a rollover accident and taken by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital. The 26-year-old underwent a CT scan that was negative for bleeding but was being kept for observation, according to a Facebook report from his sister Ashley Glipin. ...
