Jose Parga set fast time, won his heat and led every feature lap.
What won the race: Jose Parga of New Berlin, Ill., led all 25 laps Saturday at Macon Speedway for his first Midwest Big 10 Series victory. Parga took the checkers 1.577 seconds ahead of Jason Suhre, sweeping the night by setting fast time, winning his heat and every lap of the main event.
Key notes: Jose Parga was the sixth winner in six series and the second straight first-time winner after Rusty Schlenk. ... Two races remain on the ’17 slate following Macon. The tour wraps up its season Sept. 10 at Quincy (Ill.) Raceway and Oct. 13 at Jacksonville (Ill.) Raceway.
