What won the race: Outrunning Jeff Rine of Danville, Pa., Andy Haus of Hamburg, Pa., led the entire 55-lap distance for a career-richest $5,055 victory in Bedford Speedway's Labor Day 55. Haus finished 0.941 seconds ahead of Rine.

Quotable: “It’s such an advantage here to be out in front in clean air and a clean track," said Haus. "You don’t have the dirt coming up. So as long as you can hold the line and be smooth, you’re in really good shape. I was catching the lapped cars and then all of the sudden we stopped so I don’t know if they got better or we got worse.”

Key notes: Haus currently sits second in Port Royal Speedway's weekly points standings; he scored a weekly victory at the Pennsylvania oval on Aug. 26. ... Matt Cosner of Ridgeley, W.Va., lowered the track record in time trials, clocking a time of 18.508 seconds. The previous record was held by Brandon Sheppard, who set quick time earlier this season in the Billy Winn Classic event. ...
