What won the race: Starting outside the front row, Dustin Mitchell of Pine Level, N.C., raced to his second straight I-95 Challenge victory Saturday night at County Line Raceway.
Key notes: Coming off an $8,900 I-95 Challenge triumph on June 30 in the Monk Clary Memorial at Clary’s Speedway in Brinkleyville, N.C., Michell scored his fourth career win on the three-track miniseries. ... After a pair of rainouts, County Line became the only I-95 Challenge race for the Labor Day weekend. … Rain cancelled Thursday’s race at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway (makeup date to be announced later) and Friday’s race at Clary’s was rained out and rescheduled for Oct. 7. ... Ray Tucker scratched from the County Line feature.
