Riley Hickman earned $10,000 in the Chevy Series finale.
What won the race: Leading every lap, Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, Tenn., won his second straight Hoosier Racing Tire South 100. Hickman held off a late charge by Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn., who finished second. Hickman earned $10,000 in the season finale for the for Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series.
Quotable: "I just (wanted) to get through those lapped cars clean," said Hickman. "When we were in clean traffic I was pretty good and I felt like we really maneuverable and stuff. I got to those guys and they were racing really hard for position. You can't expect them to just get out of your way. They're racing for position and we're racing for the same deal. You just take it and hope you make the right decisions."
Key notes: Hickman earned his third career Chevy Series victory. ... After six cautions slowed the action in the first 33 laps, the final 67 circuits went caution free. ...
