What won the race: Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., won the Malvern Bank tour's season-ending Casey's Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway, but he was dethroned after four championship seasons by third-place finisher Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb. Berck earned $3,000 for his triumph after starting inside the second row.
Key notes: Berck won his series-best sixth tour event of the season. He has 74 for his career —five times more than any other driver — and has been the winningest driver in all 10 years of the tour's existence. ... Series champ Tad Pospisil ended the season with five victories and 16 top-fives. ... Bill Leighton Jr. won a special timed-lap competition sponsored by Home Pride Companies. The elimination-style format paid $777 in three five-lap timed segments among the top 16 series drivers.
