What won the race: Rallying from his eighth starting spot, Ricky Weiss of Headingley, Manitoba, overtook Pat Doar inside the final 10 laps for a victory in Viking Speedway's Fall Classic finale. Weiss took the checkers 1.603 seconds ahead of Jeff Wildung followed by Friday winner Don Shaw and Doar.
Key notes: Weiss notched his third victory in four starts; he swept the previous weekend's Prairie Classic at Red River Co-op Speedway in Winnipeg, Manitoba, his home track. ... Fourteen drivers finished 30 laps in the Viking finale. ... Brad Seng briefly led early over Pat Doar, who led most of the way.
On the move: Chad Olsen of Hendricks, Minn., started 19th and finished seventh.
