What won the race: Terry English of Benton, Ky., stopped his son Tanner's bid to establish a new single-season win record on the MARS DIRTcar Series with a $2,500 victory in Saturday night's Big Mo 40 at Clarksville Speedway. The elder English crossed the finish line in the MARS East event ahead of his rising son, who remained stuck at 14 triumphs on the tour this season.
Key notes: Terry and Tanner English started and finished first and second, respectively. ... Caleb Ashby placed third, also the same position in which he started. ... Clayton Miller of Elkton, Ky., who won the Oct. 21 MARS East feature at Clarksville to snap Tanner English's nine-race win streak and record his first career victory on the circuit, finished fifth in Saturday's A-main. ...
