What won the race: Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., inherited Friday's weekend-opening victory of the Cochran Clash on NeSmith's RockAuto.com Winter Shootout. Thomas was awarded the victory when Jimmy Sharpe Jr. of Soperton, Ga., failed to pass postrace technical inspection after leading all but the first two laps. Thomas earned $2,000.
