John Cornell heads to a $1,000 victory in Casa Grande.
What won the race: Reigning series champion John Cornell of Phoenix, Ariz., on Saturday grabbed his third Southwest Dirt Racing Association victory and second in a row with a $1,000 payday at Central Arizona Raceway.
Key notes: Craig Parker led early before his teammate Cornell took command. ... Brad Williams got a runner-up finish despite going off the track in turn two and losing ground when he went outside the oval and re-entered on the frontstretch. ...
