Trent Ivey won his second consective Bill Hendren Memorial.
What won the race: Trent Ivey of Union, S.C., jumped to the lead on the first lap and didn't look back en route to capturing Saturday's Bill Hendren Memorial at Cherokee Speedway for the second consecutive year. He led all 60 laps for a dominant $5,000 Crate Late Model victory.
Key notes: Ivey dominated the A-main, beating Dillon Brown to the finish line by 2.276 seconds. He also set quick time in qualifying, setting himself up for a front row starting spot in the feature. ... Third-starter Matt Long held second place throughout the race's first half but ultimately retired on lap 43 upon reaching lapped traffic due to right-front suspension damage sustained on the opening lap. ...
