What won the race: Surviving a restart three laps from the finish, polesitter Chad McClellan of Stoystown, Pa., ended Rick Singleton's four-race winning streak on the RUSH circuit. Singleton moved into the top five early, and reached second on a lap-19 restart, but he fell to third on the lap-22 restart behind points leader Ryan Montgomery. McClellan built leads of as much as 3.5 second and won by nearly a second over Montgomery.
Quotable: "I saw Rick up to second on the last caution, explained McClellan. "I was pretty decent up top, but I screwed up on the last restart and jumped the cushion. I had to settle down and hit my marks again. It was real tricky. The bottom was pretty slippy, but Rick is a heck of a good racer. If anyone is going to beat you it's probably going to be him."
Key notes: McClellan got his first feature victory at Lernerville in any division. ... Outside front-row starter Andrew Wylie led the first two laps but slipped to sixth at the finish. ... McClellan also earned $100 for his John Buzzard Memorial Dash victory over Andrew Wylie, Eric Wilson and Bobby Rohrer, which gave him the pole for the main event. ... BOSS wingless sprints were also in action at Lernerville.
