What won the race: Surviving a restart three laps from the finish, polesitter Chad McClellan of Stoystown, Pa., ended Rick Singleton's four-race winning streak on the RUSH circuit. Singleton moved into the top five early, and reached second on a lap-19 restart, but he fell to third on the lap-22 restart behind points leader Ryan Montgomery. McClellan built leads of as much as 3.5 second and won by nearly a second over Montgomery.
Quotable: "I saw Rick up to second on the last caution, explained McClellan. "I was pretty decent up top, but I screwed up on the last restart and jumped the cushion. I had to settle down and hit my marks again. It was real tricky. The bottom was pretty slippy, but Rick is a heck of a good racer. If anyone is going to beat you it's probably going to be him."
Key notes: McClellan got his first feature victory at Lernerville in any division. ... Outside front-row starter Andrew Wylie led the first two laps but slipped to sixth at the finish. ... McClellan also earned $100 for his John Buzzard Memorial Dash victory over Andrew Wylie, Eric Wilson and Bobby Rohrer, which gave him the pole for the main event. ...
