What won the race: Outside front-row starter Nick Anvelink of Navarino, Wis., led all the way Friday for his series-best fifth career victory on the DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings tour. Anvelink earned $2,000 at Spring Lake Speedway, where light rain began to fall as the checkers flew.
Key notes: Anvelink has won five of the tour's 11 events contested since its 2017 inception. ... Troy Springborn ran among the top five early, but his engine expired late. ...
