The second-starting Eckrich took the lead from polesitter Curt Martin on lap three and led the rest of the 50-lapper to win ahead of Kay, who rallied from 12th, and Todd Cooney, who started seventh.
Quotable: “There were feelings of relief and redemption. We’ve been busy with work and family and haven’t had time to focus on our hobby,” winner Andy Eckrich said. “It’s the first time in a while that we’ve been able to do that.”
