What won the race: Matt Long of Concord, N.C., picked up a $2,000 victory Friday at Carolina Speedway, his second straight on SECA's first-year SRI Topless Tour at Carolina Speedway. Long crossed the finish line 2.495 seconds ahead of runner-up Bryan Mullis.
Key notes: Long, who won the previous weekend on the tour in Sumter, S.C., led all 35 laps in Gastonia. ... Runner-up Bryan Mullis took the second spot from Dillon Brown on the 20th laps. ... Seven drivers completed 35 laps.
