Michael Barnett gets rolling at Tri-County Racetrack.
What won the race: Michael Barnett of Hayesville, Ga., captured Friday's Alpha Art Thunder Series feature for 602 Crates at Tri-County Racetrack. Bennett earned $1,200 after taking the lead when three drivers crashed ahead of him.
Key notes: Amid traffic, the top three drivers (Billy Rushton, Rod Roberts and Booger Brooks) tangled, handing the lead to Barnett. ... Ricky Smith crossed the line second but was disqualified in postrace tech inspection. ... Thirteen drivers completed 25 laps.
