What won the race: Parlaying a heat race victory into feature glory, Jason Redman of Sapulpa, Okla., led all 25 laps Friday for a $750 Sooner Late Model Series victory at Southern Oklahoma Speedway.
Key notes: Redman last won with the tour on May 20, 2017, at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Okla., which hosts the tour Saturday. ... Redman is the sixth different winner in as many events to open the Sooner season. ...
