What won the race: Fifth-starting Dustin Strand of Grand Forks, N.D., topped third-starting Shane Edginton for a $1,200 Northern LateModel Racing Association victory Friday night at River Cities Speedway. It was Strand's second consecutive NLRA triumph.
Key notes: Strand earned his first NLRA win of 2018 the previous Saturday at Greenbush (Minn.) Race Park and his third overall checkered flag of the season at River Cities. ... The NLRA tour made its second of three stops at River Cities this season.
