Max Blair gets rolling early in the evening at Eriez Speedway.
What won the race: Home-track racer Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., earned $4,100 Sunday at Eriez Speedway for his series-leading sixth Zimmer's United Late Model Series victory of the season. The eighth-starting Blair took the checkers ahead of Jared Miley in the 41-lapper. Alex Ferree led the first 26 laps but faded.
Key notes: Blair also won the previous night in ULMS action at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va. ... Boom Briggs spun running fourth on the ninth lap. ... Chub Frank was running second when he spun amid traffic on the frontstretch on lap 34. ... Steven Kania and Bump Hedman had a double rollover accident in the consolation; neither were injured. ... More than $1,500 in lap money was available for the second annual event, which honors late shock specialist Mike Farr. ... Blair also won the Crate Late Model feature; he has 13 overall feature victories on the season.
