What won the race: Only a rain delay after seven laps slowed Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., as he led all 25 laps of his second RUSH touring start of the season for a $2,000 victory. Blair beat Russ King by 4.6 seconds at the finish.
Quotable: "My dad did a great job setting this up," winner Max Blair said of his father Rob. "I've said it all my life and I'll say it the rest of my life. To me my dad is the best race car driver and setup man there has ever been in my mind. I have a really good teacher."
Key notes: Jamie Wrightsman's lap-seven spin ruined Blair's early 1.5-second lead. ... Rain that picked up during the yellow caused a delay. ... Bobby Pifer III got The Brake Man's Tough Brake of the Night for getting into the infield tires after the race restart. ... Blair's fifth RUSH tour victory ties him with Ryan Montgomery, Mike Pegher Jr., and Rick Singleton as the all-time leading winners. ... Singleton, the four-time 2014 tour winner, was unable to make the trip after blowing out the rear-end in his toter. ... Sixth-place Montgomery broke a streak of five straight finishes of fourth or better.
On the move: Russ King started sixth and finished second.
Winner's sponsors: The No. 36 Blair drove is sponsored R&K Poultry, Hicktown Farms and Genesis Shocks.
