What won the race: Reigning series champion Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., posted his second Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory of the season Saturday at Greenville Speedway. Thrash earned $2,500 in taking the checkers ahead of MSCCS points leader Neil Baggett as he ended Baggett's three-race winning streak in regional touring events.
Key notes: Thrash notched his 12th career victory overall and fourth at Greenville. ... He previously won tour events in Greenville in 2011, '12 and '17. ... He's among eight MSCCS winners in 11 events. ... Runner-up Neil Baggett entered Greenville with a three-race winning streak in regional touring series action, including the previous weeekend's MSCCS event at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss.. ...
