What won the race: Inheriting the lead when Cody Leonard had mechanical difficulties, "Little" Robbie Starnes of Baytown, Texas, won from outside the front row Saturday at Texana Raceway Park for his second Southern Texas Late Model Series victory of the season.
Key notes: Starnes added the victory to his May 5 triumph at I-37 Speedway in Pleasonton, Texas, his first career Lat eMOdel victory. ... Cody Leonhard built a big lead early before relinquishing the top spo. ... G.W. Egbert IV was scheduled to start on the pole, but a flat tire before the green flag fell forced him to start 12th. ... He managed to get back to the front and finished third despite brake problems.
