Apparent winner Brian Carswell celebrates at Antioch Speedway.
What won the race: Series points leader Brian Carswell of Valdese, N.C., captured his fourth Blue Ridge Outlaw victory of the season Friday at Antioch Speedway. Ricky Weeks of Rutherfordton, N.C., crossed the finish line second, but inherited the victory on July 26 when the apparent winner’s tire samples were ruled as failing to meet benchmark requirements. Twelve-year-old Bryson Harper was elevated to second.
Key notes: Carswell also won at Antioch on April 27. He has wins at Lancaster (S.C) Speedway and Sumpter (S.C.) Speedway this season as well. ... The wins was the seventh of the season for Weeks on the Blue Ridge tour.

Points chase: Entering the event, Brian Carswell had 383 points to lead David Minton (320) and Ricky Weeks (268).
