What won the race: Winning from his pole starting position, Mike Balcaen of Winnipeg, Manitoba, topped fourth-starting Brad Seng to win Saturday’s Northern LateModel Racing Association main event at Greenbush. Balcaen earned $1,200 for his 25th career series victory. Fifth-starting Troy Schill finished third.
Key notes: Greenbush hosted the NLRA for the second of three events this season and the 27th time in series history. … This was the only series race in July as the tour prepares for a busy, six-race August. … Dustin Strand of Grand Forks, N.D., won at Greenbush on June 23. … Strand has won two of five series races this year.
