What won the race: Surviving a tangle with a lapped car, Anthony White of Clinton, Tenn., scored a repeat victory Saturday at Wartburg Speedway in the second annual Dylan Kennedy Memorial. White, who spun on lap 13 but was restored to the lead, earned $3,700.
Key notes: The lap-13 yellow when White and the slower Eric Weber got together between turns three and four was the race's only slowdown. ... White also earned $337 apiece for his fast time and dash victory. ... The race at the Raymond Shepard-promoted track is among east Tennessee's richest Limited Late Model events. ... The second annual event pays tribute to the late crew member for racer Drew Kennedy.
On the move: Ross White of Knoxville, Tenn., started 14th and finished 11th to earn a $137 hard charger prize.
Winner's sponsors: White's Longhorn Chassis is sponsored by Burchfield Drywall, DSD Motorsports, Clinton Muffler, Irwin Construction and Copper Cove Cabins.
Points chase: Entering the weekend, Chris Marcum of Huntsville, Tenn., had 700 points to lead Anthony White (670) and Eddie King Jr. in Wartburg's weekly points.
