Brad Seng enjoys victory lane at Red River Valley Speedway.
What won the race: Ending a nearly year-long drought, winningest series driver Brad Seng of Grand Forks, N.D., raced to a Northern LateModel Racing Association victory Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway on the third night of a four-race NLRA weekend.
Key notes: Brad Seng has a series-leading 36 career NLRA victories; his previous victory came Aug. 19, 2017, at Devils Lake Speedway in Doyon, N.D. ... Seng and polesitter Donny Schatz battled for the lead with Seng overcoming the sprint car ace, who finished third. ... Twenty-one of 24 starters were running at the checkers. ... Schatz won the World of Outlaw sprint feature. ... The NLRA series made its 11th visit in tour history to Red River Valley and its only stop this season.
On the move: Dustin Strand of East Grand Forks, N.D., stared 11th and finished fifth.
