What won the race: Polesitter Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, Miss., took the lead from Brian Rickman on lap 10 and led the rest of the way to pick up his first career Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory Saturday at Greenville Speedway. Palasini finished 2.041 seconds ahead of series leader Jack Sullivan to earn a $2,500 payday in the the first race of a tour doubleheader in Greenville.
Key notes: Brothers Brian and Rick Rickman battled up front early, with Brian leading the first lap and Rick grabbing the lead on lap six. Brian retook the point on lap seven and held it until Palasini took over on lap 10. ... Track lighting problems delayed the night's action. ...
