What won the race: Third-starting Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Minn., earned Sunday’s Northern LateModel Racing Association victory at Viking Speedway. Shaw took the early lead from polesitter Mike Prochnow and ran away for his first NLRA victory of the season.
Key notes: Shaw improved one spot from Saturday’s runner-up finish at Viking as the half-mile Douglas County Fairgrounds oval hosted its traditional Labor Day doubleheader. … Mike Balcaen improved four positions to finish second. ...
