Ivey storms to SECA victory at Travelers Rest
What won the race: Trent Ivey of Union, S.C., dominated Monday at Travelers Rest Speedway for a $2,000 victory in the the 30-lap event SECA SRI Topless Tour event. He took the checkers 4.339 seconds ahead of Dale Timms in a seven-car race on the SECA-sanctioned tour.
Key notes: Travelers Rest hosted the SECA tour for the first time this season as the tour was back in action following a seven-week hiatus. … It’s was the sixth race of the year for the Crate tour that has produced four different winners in five events this season. ... The victory was Ivey's first victory on the tour this season.
