Quotable: "It's been a spell. It's good to get a win. I think we had a monkey on a back, a whole bundle of 'em," winner Casey Roberts said. "But we just kept plugging away at it. These guys have been super cool. (Car owner Larry) Garner hasn't said one bad word toward us. He's been real patient, and I appreciate that."
Key notes: Roberts, who joined the Maryville, Tenn.-based Blount team late last season, earned his first victory with the team after some near-misses. ... Over Labor Day weekend at Tazewell (Tenn.) The Southern All Stars visited OSP for the fourth time in series history and first since 2007. ... Oglethorpe hosted the first race of a weekend doubleheader for the SAS, as the tour will be at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvester, Ga., for the annual Rebel Yell on Saturday.
