Mitch McGrath got his second career Dirt Kings victory.
What won the race: Polesitter Mitch McGrath of Waukesha, Wis., captured Saturday's 30-lap DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Tour at Plymouth Dirt Track for a $1,250 victory. McGrath became the first series driver besides reigning champ Nick Anvelink to win more than one series race.
Key notes: McGrath, who led all 30 laps, is a former Plymouth track champion and former WDLMA champ. ... He won the first-ever series race in the inaugural series event in Oshkosh, Wis., in 2017 ... McGrath is the second-leading rookie on the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association, the tour he's focused on this season. ... A red flag appeared on the 17th lap when the car of Eric Michaels hit an infield tire and flipped; no injuries were reported. ... Plymouth Dirt Track hosted its first-ever series race.
