What won the race: Leading every lap from the pole position, Johnny Wise II of Perryville, Ark., picked up his first career Southern Outlaw Late Model Series win. Wise outran Mike Cook and Eddie Martin for a $1,000 victory Saturday at Centerville Speedway.
Key notes: The win is Wise’s first-ever Late Model victory, coming in his fourth year in the division. … He is the seventh different winner in 11 series races this season. … Series points leader Rob Powell finished fifth. … The tour visited Centerville for the second and final time of 2018. … The series visits Chatham (La.)
