What won the race: Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pa., completed a sweep of Bob Rohrer's September Sweep on Sunday at Eriez Speedway, earning a $6,011 Super Late Model victory. Briggs won the night following his $4,011 victory in the track's season-ending weekend.
Key notes: With his Bob Rohrer Memorial victory, Briggs stretched his winning streak at Eriez to three in a row. ... Briggs also earned $3,000 in the Sept. 2 Ultimate Northeast event at the western Pennsylvania oval. ... Briggs scored his richest career weekend since 2008's ULMS Fall Classic victory at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pa., when he earned $14,500 for a similar weekend sweep. ... Fourth-running Mike Knight spun with two laps remaining and Alex Ferree was tagged with causing it; both restarted on the tail. ... Dave Hess Jr. was running second prior to the final restart but pitted, giving up his spot and handing second to Matt Urban. ... Todd Weldon and Greg Oakes scratched from the feature. ...
